i realize that all of my promises to return to some sort of schedule of mixes have been empty thus far...which isn't like me. i dedicated some thought to this issue and i realized that, for me, the summertime is about nostalgia. it's about bike trips and wishing i was on one. so i listen to the music that takes me back to those summers. no doubt next summer i will be choosing tracks that bring me back to this summer. it's a theory at least...and one that explains away my lull in gathering new tunes.
jessica informed me that bumbershoot and i share the same party dates in the northwest, so i procured a ticket and have been beside myself since. jessica, brian, and bumbershoot?! i have no doubt that is how neko and beck slipped on here. i hope there is a little something in this one for everyone. enjoy.
