The judgment of God is not something we like to think about much less teach about. Aversion to the judgment of God can cause us to minimize the judgment of God. When this happens, we almost never mention the judgment of God, and we do mention the judgment of God, we do it in almost an apologetic embarrassed sort of way. Despite this, there is no accurate way to talk about God without talking His judgment. The Word of God displays the judgment of God without embarrassment and without apology. The Word of God reveals the judgment of God just as surely as it reveals the love of God.
