JYD is the gritty attitude to bear down and fight for the covenant God has made to his people Israel. Throughout the Bible, we see many Gentiles who stood with the people of God through turbulent times (they showed the JYD attitude). One man who is an exemplary model of standing with the nation of Israel and fighting for their covenant, is Caleb, the son of Jephunneh. Examining the life of Caleb, and the character that he displays through the scriptures, inspires us to show the same tenacious loyalty to the God of the covenant, and the people of the covenant. We will demonstrate a JYD attitude to honor, carry, and fight to see all the promises made by the Lord to his people Israel. This is the "Junkyard Dog" heart that every Gentile who love Jesus needs to have inside of them.
