Our sermon title is a colloquialism that is used to indicate events, phrases, or situations that make you
stop and think deeply about something. This message examines some of the contradictions, ironies, and
paradoxes in the Word that were meant to get us to stop and think deeply about the profound truth
being expressed. While the message certainly draws from the Pauline epistles, Yeshua was the real
master of this art and the majority of the message focuses on his discourse in Mark 10.
