Prior to joining RTÉ, Marie was a staff writer at the Sunday Independent.
Here she talks us through how she got her break in the industry, how to build up contacts, and the best advice she’s received. We also talk about the transition from writing to broadcasting, and how, exactly, you go about putting together a nightly sports radio during a once-in-a-century pandemic that has forced the cancellation of sport across the world.
