2. We have a tendency to believe in the gospel of Jesus (trusting in his work on the cross) for initial salvation, but quickly begin to live as though salvation depended on our works. Why is this? What moral trait are you the most proud of in your life? How does the gospel effect the way you view this? How do we maintain a gospel centered way of life?
3. What are the prejudices in our society…in your life personally? How does the gospel of Jesus effect such a view?
4. What has God “shown” you in the last 6 months? (regarding anything) What sin and idolatry has He revealed to you? In what ways have you seen sanctification take place in your life? How has the gospel shaped your way of thinking (on anything) in these recent days?
