Do we make the Bible into an idol? That is a weighty question that needs to be carefully considered before answering hastily. While we can love the Word of God, we can get to a point of wielding it as a weapon rather than using it as the instruction from the Creator of the universe. Conversely, we can get to a point where we allow our own understanding to dictate our view of the Bible. Fallacies abound when we are left to our devices.
