You’re listening to the MVMNT podcast. This episode is going to give you an opportunity to reflect. In the next fifteen minutes, you will be guided in a time of reflection, to better help you be more mindful of yourself and those around you. Each prompt is said every two minutes:
Take two minutes and silence yourself. Notice your breath, your lungs unconsciously bringing your body life with every breath.
Think about your emotions today, when were you disappointed? What made you feel inadequate?
Now think about the times you felt known. What made you feel valued? What made you come alive?
Now think about others. How have you maybe made someone feel inadequate? How have you made someone feel known?
Think about one specific person you interacted with today. What can you do right now to let them know they matter? How can you communicate to them that your existence is better because they are alive.
How can you posture yourself before others to show them they are valuable?
How can you live today in a manner worthy of that which you were created to be?
