The women's Retreat is October 28-30th at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. It's filling up fast, sign up in the courtyard or in Fellowship Hall on Sunday morning, or online at ljpres.org/women/retreat/.
This Sunday, October 2nd, right after the 1st service in the Sanctuary, there will be a called Congregational meeting to call Scott Mitchell as Designated Associate Pastor of Congregational Care, approve Pastors Terms of Call, elect 5 Elders, 8 Deacons, and 1 CNC member for the class Of 2019. Elders: Bill Abrell, Bobby Graham, Suzanne Pope, Pam Taunton, and Tom Dembinski. Deacons: Karen Bonner, Charlie and Nancy Champion, Harry & Kay Dirks, Anne Holst, Melissa Markey, and Marti Stirtz. CNC: Karen Donaldson.
The next Prayer & Healing Service will be Saturday, Oct. 15 at 10am in Fellowship Hall. Pastor Paul and Pastor Scott will lead the congregation in a time of prayer and healing for the body and mind.
