At Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, for our fourth Sunday in Advent on December 18, 2016, our senior pastor continued in Matthew's Gospel. We examined how God interrupted Joseph's narrative of his life: God gave him a vision and told him that his betrothed wife would conceive of the Holy Spirit and give birth to a son. God enlarged Joseph's narrative, and he and Mary participated with God to change the world.
