In continuing his exploration of Matthew 4:1-11 from last Sunday, our senior pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, on Sunday, March 18 reminded us that when we're doing extraordinary things for God, we'll be tempted. In order to be in a good position to do extraordinary things, we must be secure in our identity, work out of our identity, and know who we are in Jesus. If we're a Christian, then we must also be a disciple of Jesus, living secure in our identity in Christ. Being a disciple is not optional.
