Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, seeks to be a church that's Becoming Community in Christ. Our senior pastor Rev. Craig Bailey continued in our Means of Grace sermon series focusing this week again on prayer. Pain and disappointment are part of our lives, often because of unmet expectations. God is the one with whom we're disappointed, and prayer is the thing with which we're disappointed. Let us not be rendered prayerless in our lives because of our discouragements. The early church was devoted to prayer, and Jesus' prayer in John 11 at Lazarus' tomb shows us where to take our disappointment.
