 Vs 29 Trouble = disturb wholly, agitate with alarm.

 Vs 30-34 How can this be?

 Vs 35 Overshadow you = cast a shadow upon, envelop.

 Vs 36-37 Gabriel encouraged Mary’s faith.

 Vs 38 Mary’s response of faith and obedience.

WHAT DOES A LIFE OF HIGHLY FAVORED AND BLESSED LOOK LIKE?

 Matthew 1:18-25 Joseph’s concerns were answered by God in a dream.

 Matthew 2:13-15 They had to flee to Egypt as the government trying to kill Jesus.

 Matthew 13:55-56 Jesus had four brothers and several sisters.

 Luke 4:29 Elders were mad because Jesus claimed to be the Messiah.

 Mark 3:20-21 His own people = Greek expression here denotes Jesus immediate family.

 NUGETS WE CAN GLEAN FROM MARY’S HIGHLY FAVORED AND BLESSED LIFE.

1.      Along with God’s favor you can expect some adversity.

2.      God desires to partner with those who will trust Him through everything. (Mike Bickel)

3.      Sometimes the fulfillment of God’s promises seem delayed.

4.      God’s promises are just as sure when they seem delayed or when facing adversity.

5.      Romans 8:28 Rejoice and persist, God is never late, stand firm on His promises.
