阅读前可以做的准备：
. 翻看故事的插画，包括封面，猜一猜故事的内容。
. 有一只调皮的小泰迪熊在故事里出现了8次，你能找到它吗？
读在前面的发音：
. "oo" as in moon / soon / cool / shoot / zoom / shoo / boom / food
阅读后可以做的练习：
. 找一找故事里的所以包含"oo"的单词。
. 用简单的英文单词或句子复述故事。
故事原文：
. The Moon Jet (Written by Roderick Hunt, Illustrated by Nick Schon)
. Kipper had a box and a bin. (This is a jet.)
. Kipper got in his jet... (I am off.) ... and put on the lid.
. "This jet is cool," said Kipper. "Off I go," he said.
. The jet shot off. It shot out of the room. (That was the roof!)
. "I will loop the loop," said Kipper. The jet did six loops.
. "I will go to the moon," said Kipper. "I can get to it soon," he said. (I can shoot to the moon.)
. The jet got to the moon. (I am on the moon.) But the moon hugs ran up.
. "Yuk," said Kipper. "Moon hugs." (Yum, food. Let's eat.) "Shoo, get off," said Kipper.
. "Did I nod off?" said Kipper. "Yes," said Mum. "Get up to bed."
