The wisdom of the Proverbs centers on the call for God's Love and Faithfulness to be written on the tablet of one's heart. Apart from this important change of soul, one can never fulfill one's obligations to the covenant of grace. Proverbs 3:1-8 reminds us all that in order to be a blessed child of God, a blessed covenant-keeper, then a change of heart, a change of soul, must occur. This change can only happen in the saving grace of Christ.
