From time immemorial, elections have been a mess. There has been "ritualized bribery" to outright rigging of them, elections have always been a fiasco. And, of course, they are still rigged today. Just not the way you are being told that they are rigged.
Meanwhile, we need to figured out what to do about it, if anything even can be done. The lessons of history are NOT encouraging...
