The middle will likely remain empty if the flight is not full, because people usually choose either a window or an aisle seat. If someone does pick that middle seat, chances are they'll be willing to switch with one of you.
如果飞机不是客满的话，通常中间的座位最有可能会空着，因为通常大家不是选择走道，就是靠窗的位置。如果有人选择了中间的位置，他们也很有和你们其中一人换位子。
