Originally from N. Ireland (UK), Harry became a Christian at 18 in 1976. He joined a church and was quickly encouraged to get involved in the children's ministry and youth work. He has been a missionary in Belgium since 1983 and has been involved in full-time children's ministry since 1990. He and his wife Catherine have been married since 1988 and have 2 adult children.
Director of Action International Ministries in Belgium, Harry also serves as pastor of the Tournai Protestant Baptist Church in French-speaking Belgium. He is a founding member of the Global Children's Forum. As Convenor of the European Evangelical Alliance-Hope for Europe Children's Ministry Network since 2008, he helped launch both Children's and Youth Ministry networks in Europe. In 2016 he became a Maxwell Leadership Certified Team Member to better equip today's and tomorrow's leaders. He is passionate about seeing children and youth grow as disciples of Jesus and discover their God-given gifts and purpose in life.
He is currently writing The Generational Awakening, a book and course.
The Generational Awakening Platforms aim to encourage, equip and empower Christian leaders, teachers and parents to effectively nurture the next generation to become strong and resilient disciples of Jesus.
