In todays episode I had the honour to talk to Jon Pyzel - the head behind Pyzel Surfboards, the legendary brand from Hawaii. We met at Polen Surfboards in Cascais, where he shapes his boards for a few weeks every year.
We talked about the process of shaping, about sustainability in the surfboard-industry, the difference living in Hawaii and Portugal, about the path of John John Florence, whom Jon Pyzel accompanies since the age of 5 and lot of more interesting insights about this shaping legend.
