3 man Army's first and probably longest recording opus, over 140 minutes of music resulting from numerous studio sessions. Partially recorded on to 8-track tape (The unreleased "Starless and Broken Black")then overdubbed onto cassette, the Army experienced some moments in poor quality, drop-outs and failed microphones along the way, but corrections and enhancements have been made here to help the sound quality from the tapes coming on 40 years.
