Larry Gogan began his broadcasting career in 1961 on Radio Éireann, before becoming the first DJ on-air for RTE Radio 2 (now 2FM) when it launched in 1979.
Since then his easy-going style and his way with people has made him one of the country's best-loved radio presenters, so it was a privilege to sit down and talk to a genuine radio legend.
