The 11th sermon in the series, 2 Peter: Sharing in God's Life
Peter tells us, since the return of Christ and the Day of the Lord are imminent, we must actively wait. And active waiting looks like a life of holy conduct, godliness, and peace—meaning we are to love, give to, and serve both friend and foe alike. In this way, we actually hasten the Lord's return in justice and righteousness! Finally, Peter cautions us to beware of untaught and unstable people that will twist the Scriptures, and instead, encourages us to read the rest of the Bible for confirmation of his message.
