The 1st sermon in a series on Exodus 1-18 called Exodus: Redemption
At the beginning of the second book of the Bible, we find the people of Israel still in the land of Egypt, only now, they have been enslaved by a Pharaoh who did not remember Joseph. Out of paranoia and jealousy, the king conspires to crush the Hebrews. But two brave midwives, Shiphrah and Puah, act on Israel's behalf. And while the name of Pharaoh is forgotten, their names are remembered to this day!
