The 2nd sermon in the series, 2 Peter: Sharing in God's Life.
Peter wants us to be rooted in faith in God's divine power and the hope of God's divine nature. And from these roots, he pleads with us to "supplement our faith" with 7 things: goodness, knowledge, self-control, endurance, godliness, brotherly affection, and love. He warns that not growing in these qualities is to risk being spiritually useless and forgetful of our salvation.
