The 2nd sermon in a series of 4 from the book of Ruth for Advent.
The story of Ruth is an Advent story; a story of peace in the midst of striving. After Ruth and Naomi settle back into Bethlehem, Ruth goes gleaning to support them. Little does she know she is about to "happen" upon the man who will change her life. Boaz, the lord of the field, discovers Ruth character, and although she is a stranger, welcomes her as her own, covering her with wings of peace.
