Paul continues to expose "the Colossian Heresy" as he reveals that even good former religious rituals are merely a shadow cast by the greater reality: the person and work of Jesus Christ. He encourages Christians to not let Judaizers pressure them into keeping kosher or certain festivals or for pagans to pressure them into asceticism or mystery religions.
