Peter continues his diatribe against false teachers. He compares their slandering of angels and their clamoring after money and sex to the mindless, predatory violence of irrational animals. To illustrate his point, he retells the story of the evil prophet Balaam and how his own donkey rebuked him when facing one of God's holy angels.
