The 8th study in Amos: The Shepherd Prophet
In our 8th part of a 9-week study, Amos reveals the fourth out of five visions he receives from the LORD. This vision, which mirrors the third, depicts Israel as summer fruit, ripe for judgment and on the cusp of rot. The LORD then reminds them the reason why they are facing his justice: for economic oppression and physical violence on the poor and needy.
