Can we talk about a topic that most in the room won’t like? Well, we are, anyway!! I don’t like it either, but just because we don’t like something doesn’t mean we don’t need to talk about it. The topic is waiting. How many patient people by practice and lifestyle do we have in the room? You can raise your hand if you want, but I wouldn’t. Some of us are better than others in this area, but no one here has perfected it. Waiting is not an art I have perfected, but today, I hope to convince all of us that seeing Jesus is worth the wait. Today we will be in Luke 2 in a section of scripture I’m pretty sure I have never preached out of. In three weeks, we will be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus here at Reach, and what better place to be this morning than talking about the beginning of His story?
