For the next three weeks, we will look at the birth narrative out of Luke. We will focus on this phrase Pregnant with Promise. The birth narrative of Jesus is a promise of something future, and for the next three weeks, we will wrestle with that same promise as it relates to us personally. Mary and Elizabeth didn’t get to see any fulfillment of these promises for almost 30 years. The Treasure of belief is the same for us. We may not see the fulfillment of these promises until we see Jesus. So how do we deal with our doubts?
