You may have heard Greg talk about what I did last weekend and know you are fully convinced that something is wrong with me. The event started at 6 pm last Saturday and ended at 9 am Sunday. We cover over 26 miles with a 40-50lb plus whatever else they made us carry. Sandbags, water bladders, and a 30-foot telephone pole. Let me tell you you learn a lot about yourself on the road. It is one thing to sit back a watch, and it is another thing to do it. Many of us watch shows about great adventure races or obstacle course races and wonder how far I could have made it. If you are a disciple, you are on a journey, not in a club. And that Journey is not easy. To be truthful, it is quite hard. Understanding why you on the Road matters. Vision gives pain a purpose. What vision is driving you? And you know where you clarify your vision and grow your faith and trust. That’s right on the ROAD. Today we look at a conversation that happened on the ROAD and see what God wants to speak to you today.
