Many people misunderstand Christianity, viewing it like every other religion. They wrongly assume it's all about what you can and must do for God. Today Jesus makes it clear He did not come to be served. God is not looking for what you can do for Him. Rather, Jesus came to serve you with His life, death, and resurrection. We call this the gospel, that at the heart and core of the Christian faith and doctrine is the heart and core of Jesus Christ, who laid down His life to serve as your ransom for sin, death, and hell. God be praised.
