In this message from 1 John, Dana Lindsey challenges every listener to honestly examine whether they have truly been saved. While salvation is by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ, genuine faith produces visible evidence in a believer's life. John points to several marks of authentic salvation, including faith in Christ, obedience to His Word, following Jesus' example, a growing passion for God over the world, practicing righteousness, loving fellow believers, and the witness of the Holy Spirit. Rather than trusting in outward religion or empty profession, believers are encouraged to examine their lives in light of Scripture and rest in the assurance found through a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ.
