What does it truly mean to know Jesus? In 1 John 2:1–11, we see three marks of a life connected to Christ: forgiveness, obedience, and love. Our salvation rests not on our feelings, experiences, or performance, but on Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice for our sins. As we grow in our relationship with Him, that faith begins to bear fruit as we learn to walk in obedience and love one another.
