Believe: Jesus According to John | Eternal Life with Skin

Unfortunately, we overuse that word. But it aptly defines the contents of John 1:1-5, 9-18, which is the passage we will be looking at this week. John presents Jesus as the supernatural order behind the cosmos who has now taken on flesh and moved into the neighbourhood. Everything about that would be unbelievable - except for the fact that John is writing this so that we will believe.
John paints a true picture of Jesus’s eternality and unpacks clearly why Jesus came. And John is going to fight for us to believe that Jesus is everything that we are hearing - despite how hard it is to orient our hearts and minds around these truths.
