In a 21st century Western culture, if you find it difficult to believe in miracles you’re certainly not alone. Yet, in this short text Peter heals a paralytic and then raises a dead Dorcas back to life. What are to think of such miraculous stories? How are we to live, given the tension we feel between these miraculous stories and our everyday lives? We will be reminded of a God of the Impossible, who is in the business of making all things new, starting in the here and now.
