What would drive Jesus to the point of making a whip and forcing animals out of the temple area? What would cause Him to flip over tables that were holding considerable amounts of money? 

 

Love.

 

Most likely you have trouble finding how love would cause Him to do that. His disciples had a hard time understanding as well. In fact, when Jesus speaks about raising up a temple in three days, which in fact took 46 years to build, they were lost. 

 

But eventually, they got it. 

 

Jesus invites you to explore who He is. We will see Him as an indestructible and living temple, which is an anomaly. Temples get destroyed and broken as new civilizations want to scrub remembrance of that day. But this temple can’t be scrubbed.
