I'll Love You... Forever? | Loving The Stranger

June 12 2016 / Dwight Bernier

You are always changing! It’s true. You are. New information, situations, and relationships all contribute to our continual personal reformation. And when two people get married… they both continue to change. At some point, both will wake up sensing that they are married to a stranger. And that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. But how do we respond when disorientation arises in the relationship? How do we love the “stranger?”. That is the question we will look at this Sunday. We will hone in on the reality that God has given three incredible powers to each marriage that we must embrace and use simultaneously. If your marriage is amazing - this week is for you. If you are struggling, then this sermon will be for you. If you are not married, guess what? Yes, this week is for you. And as I hope you know, the real hero of the sermon will be Jesus who came to love the stranger (us) and make us part of His bride.
