Rebuilding Quebec | Rebuilding requires continual reforms

November 13, 2016 / Dwight Bernier

When people hear from God, reformation happens. Any rebuilding effort requires continual reformations.

As we have seen in the book of Nehemiah, he led the city to rebuild her physical and spiritual elements. Great change took place in Jerusalem. But in only a matter of years after his departure, the city returned to her own ways, neglecting what God wanted for his people.

When Nehemiah returns for a visit, he sets the city back in order (in some very unusual ways) out of his love for God. His heart was to see people love and honor the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength.

In Québec, it appears that God is doing some slow, yet major reformation. I am sure that he is not interested in creating a monument - but rather a movement. And movements will always have to change to be in line with how and where God is moving.

This Sunday, we look at some of the areas that will require constant reformation for the church in Québec. If God is rebuilding Québec in an entirely new way, change will be something we experience on a very regular basis. But if God is rebuilding Québec, then I want for us to embrace all the changes as they are part of his renewal project for all things.

Join us as we wrap up this series with a reminder that the things we spoke about during the series will be subjects we will always be talking about!
