Rebuilding requires everyone.
This is the reality that we will see in Nehemiah 2.10-4.23. Everyone was necessary for the rebuilding to actually happen. The same is true in Québec. If transformation is going to take place in Québec, then it will require all of God’s people working together in unity and love for the good of the kingdom and the province.
There are three groups that we will hone in on this week:
The first group is the leaders. We will look at the person of Nehemiah and how he led as well as the leaders necessary to see change in the church and in Québec.
The second group is everyone. We will discuss identity, gifts, and briefly touch on some areas of calling that will be explored later on in the series. Since we will focus on everyone, this sermon will be for you.
The third group is the enemies. For Nehemiah, the enemies were present at every move that he made. And this is the reality for the church in Québec as well. There will be enemies - but they are not necessarily of flesh and blood. We will see how we are to relate to the enemies that exist to rebuilding Québec.
I am very excited about this week and how God will use it to identify for us what He wants for us to be doing in this province. Remember, it is no accident that you are here in this place at this time.
