Pop Punk Powerhouse and former lead singer of Candy Hearts, Mariel Loveland, talks to Zero Platoon about her life in music and just her life in general. From growing up with psychologists for parents, to having her demos noticed by Chad Gilbert from New Found Glory, all the way through her own personal musical journey that led up to the upcoming release of a new record from her dancey indie rock project Best Ex, which will be out in May on No Sleep Records. And of course, we also talk about some of the mental ups and downs of not only being a musician who puts your whole heart into your music, but also just being a human navigating life.
