In today's episode, we're talking about how breaking personal records can boost momentum.

Amazingly, when you set and achieve a fitness goal, the brain not only releases dopamine each time you go out to train, but it also releases it when you achieve the goal.

This sense of pleasure gathered and repeated from accomplishment sets us up for massive health success. This is because it greatly increases the likelihood that we will continue to step up to the fitness plate.

However, humans are much more responsive to negativity or loss than we are to rewards and trophies. For most of us, the pain of losing something is stronger than the pleasure of gaining something of equal value.

With this knowledge, it is wise to set fitness goals.
