Description

Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Alexis who has a fear of driving. Understandable, she was driving and the next thing she knew was that she woke up in the hospital and the doctor was telling her that she would need to wear a halo neck brace for the next six months. Her attitude, "let's party" but maybe that was the MDMA that was lingering in her system after overdosing the night before. Regardless, if you have not looked up a halo brace, I had to, they are super gnarly. One of the worst parts for Alexis was seeing how much pain she put her mother through during the entire experience. Now Alexis is learning to get comfortable behind the wheel again - going at her own pace and with support driving again. Next time you are driving behind someone that might be going a little slow, remember to have some compassion and slow down for them. You never know what someone is going through in this life. Be kind.
