Description

Patricia called in today to share her story about fear and how it is interlocked with success. Patricia came from a tough neighborhood where she saw gangs and you had to be tough and direct to survive. It was at a young age that she decided that she would work hard in school and make it out of the tough neighborhood, but if she was going to make it our there were things that she was told that she would need to leave behind like her accent and her tough attitude. What Patricia has realized that while she has become successful and realized her dream of making it out of the tough neighbored there were things that she didn’t want to give up because she didn’t want to lose who she was. Patricia also share how there are some things that she has carried with her that are an advantage like the ability to say the difficult things, things that others might be thinking but too polite to say, she will say them.
