Description

Have you ever noticed that a co-worker can work twice as long as you and comes up with the best ideas? Your co-worker may have ADHD.

While people may notice children with ADHD may bounce off the walls, be easily distracted by a "squirrel" and impulsively does some wild things, these qualities, when harnessed, become quite valuable.  A person with a lot of energy can work longer and not tire.  A person easily distracted is a curious and therefore creative person.  They may even be distracted due to being intuitive.  They could feel the need to check on a co-worker before returning to their current task or not trust you because of a feeling they are getting.  Throughout life, someone with ADHD has had to be curious to figure out how to get the world to work for them.  And they build resiliency from others giving them a hard time, lots of criticism, and negativity towards their behavior.

Barb Hubbard is an ADHD expert that helps her client to get organized and focused.  Barb has seen all the benefits of having ADHD.  There is such a negative connotation with the diagnosis of ADHD but when Barb speaks about it and her solutions you almost feel jealous of them!
