This rolled off the tongue and I ran with it. In the last year, I've been discovering what life's "Big Secrets" are. These are the things that have been discovered and re-discovered by humans since the dawn of our time.
I think the way we'll share them is to do a short episode to reveal them, and then we'll do a follow up episode to share a story that supports the point.
Part 1: Access. I speculate that the first 90% of your success while hunting in Alaska will come from the efforts you spent to secure access to the backcountry. Your gear, your skills, and (for certain) your long range shooting skills will be irrelevant if you can't understand how to get yourself into the Beast's nest.
