As our nation celebrates the idealized notion of romantic love, we will dig a little deeper for the gold hidden in the experienced hearts of our own members. How many times can a heart be broken and still give and receive love? How long can a marriage last and still be full of energy and intimacy? I have talked to several couples in our congregation who have been married more than 50 years, but also newlyweds, divorcees, and singles.
I promise, you’ll leave with a few good tips for whatever relationship you’re nurturing these days …. including those of you focused primarily on healthy self love.
