The sermon was delivered on Sunday, October 5, 2014, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Rev. Dr. Marlin Lavanhar, Senior Minister. SERMON DESCRIPTION In October we launch a new sermon series on the topic of ENDINGS. Poet T.S. Eliot wrote: “What we call a beginning is often an end and to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from.” The end of one season is the beginning of a new one. Life is filled with endings, losses, deaths and rebirths. How we deal with the end of one thing is inextricably tied to the beginning of the next. In October we will look at the relationship between endings and new beginnings.
