SERMON DESCRIPTION From the Minister: The Traditional Service at 10:00 a.m. will commence “Sources of Our Faith” preaching series. I intend to introduce it by looking at current events through my theological lens. Our sources of faith are intended to bring clarity. After introducing the Six Sources of Faith, I will focus on the first source, direct experience of the transcending mystery and wonder, affirmed in all cultures, that moves us to a renewal of the spirit and an openness to the forces which create and uphold life. I think there’s a sermon inside all of that. My hope for those who attend is that you leave with a better idea of what it means to be a UU person of faith.
