Guest: Gregg McDonald, husband, father, evangelizer
When Gregg McDonald was seven, he died and met Jesus. Three more times Jesus spoke to him in dreams, and even though Gregg wandered a bit as a young adult, he never doubted God was real. Gregg rarely spoke of his supernatural encounters, and it was the realization that today’s culture has effectively erased God and declared masculinity toxic which brought him to the front lines of the battlefield. Men had been intimidated into dropping their customary leadership roles, unaware that doing so left their families wide open to spiritual attack. This led Gregg to write
Muscle Car Faith, laying out foundational myths keeping men from getting off the ground. Excuses like not having time or thinking they don’t know where to start disappear once a man understands they are fighting for the very souls of their loved ones. Leadership matters, and it’s an innate characteristic of men to protect and defend. Gregg's book makes them aware of the spiritual battle and prepares them to engage with the Enemy.
In an earlier episode of The Family Room, Gregg detailed how creating an online website, “Men As Christ,” has given tens of thousands of men the opportunity to grow together in their pursuit of Godly leadership.
